FIELD: radio engineering and communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the communication technique and can be used in order to perform measurements of radio signals in the communication system. More particularly, the invention relates to the methods for adapting the measurement frequency to the operating frequency, it further relates to the corresponding method, which is performed at the network node, the measuring node, for example, a wireless device, a network node, and related computer programs. Method, which is performed in the measuring node, comprises the stages during which: the carrier frequency of at least one radio signal to be measured is obtained, the frequency of measurements based on the received carrier frequency is determined, and at least one measurement of a radio signal with a certain measurement frequency is carried out.
EFFECT: high reliability of communication.
