FIELD: radio engineering and communication.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication engineering and can be used in radio communication systems. It is determined that a subscriber device must perform one or more radio measurements using a first set of reference time resources for at least a first cell operating at a first carrier frequency. Adaptively performing switching based on the reference signal carriers for transmission of the reference signal at the second cell operating at the second carrier frequency, based on the determined first set of reference time resources. It is also determined that the user equipment must perform one or more radio measurements using the first set of reference time resources for at least the first cell operating at the first carrier frequency. Subscriber device also has to adaptively perform switching based on the reference signal carriers for transmitting the reference signal at the second cell operating on the second carrier frequency based on the determined first set of reference time resources. Method further comprises using an adaptive switching result based on the reference signal carriers for one or more work tasks.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improved transmission capacity.
