FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: present invention is directed to a method of attaching a portable connection device, tubular assemblies, and an adhesive and adhesive compositions within the tubular assemblies. Claimed tubular assembly comprises: a glass fiber, a heat-restored heat-shrinkable tubing surrounding at least a portion of the glass fiber and an adhesive, which adhesively connects a heat-restored heat-shrinkable tubing with a glass fiber, with that adhesive having an adhesive composition comprising a maleic anhydride-modified linear low density polyethylene resin and a maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene copolymer.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing a method for applying a heat shrinkable tubing and an adhesive for attaching the optical fiber to the fiber optic connector without using a ferule.
