SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the chemical-pharmaceutical industry and represents a difluprednate-containing emulsion composition, containing at least one antimicrobial component, with the exception of zinc, selected from the group consisting of silver and copper, having concentration of the silver ion not less than 0.00005 % w/v and not more than 0.6 % w/v, and concentration of the copper ion above 0.0001 % w/v and not more than 0.5 % w/v. Invention also provides a method for imparting the immediate efficacy of the preservative action of this emulsion composition through the claimed antimicrobial components.
EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to obtain a difluprednate emulsion by adding positively charged ions without a coalescing effect.
