FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical technology, namely to thermo-therapy means with MP-control. System comprises a thermal action system for applying pulses of thermal action to a target in a subject, the thermal impact pulses are separated in time by a cooling period, a magnetic resonance system for performing a temperature measurement on the subject by collecting temperature-dependent magnetic resonance signals, controller for switching on or off the thermal action system based on temperature-dependent magnetic resonance signals, the thermal action system is configured to determine the end of the cooling period based on the temperature measurement in the fat outside the target performed during the cooling period, temperature or temperature change is determined by thermometry based on the relaxation time constant. Method for determining the end of the cooling period during the thermal treatment is carried out by means of the system and comprises the steps of applying thermal impulses to the subject, wherein the thermal impact pulses are separated in time by a cooling period, temperature-dependent magnetic resonance signals are collected in the fat outside the target during the cooling period to determine the end of the cooling period, wherein the temperature or temperature change is determined by thermometry based on the relaxation time constant and adjusting the cooling period based on the temperature-dependent magnetic resonance signals.
EFFECT: use of inventions makes it possible to improve the accuracy of controlling the regulation of the cooling period.
