SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to acquire magnetic resonance thermometry data from an object. Invention consists in thatmagnetic resonance imaging system comprises a magnet with an imaging zone. Medical apparatus further comprises memory for storing machine executable instructions. Medical apparatus further comprises a processor for controlling medical apparatus, wherein execution of machine executable instructions causes processor to: acquire magnetic resonance thermometry data from multiple slices within imaging zone by controlling magnetic resonance imaging system and interpolate a three dimensional thermal dose estimate in accordance with magnetic resonance thermometry data.

EFFECT: enabling reconstruction of reliable temperature measurements.
