SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biochemistry, in particular to an isolated antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof that specifically binds to Jagged1, and a method for its preparation. Also, disclosed is the use of the above antibody in an immunoconjugate and pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of cancer, for reducing the growth of cancer cells, as well as for the preparation of a medicament for the treatment of a disease or disorder associated with a violation of signaling by the Notch receptor. Further, the invention relates to a nucleic acid encoding the above antibody or a fragment thereof, as well as to a host cell containing the above-mentioned nucleic acid.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to effectively treat cancer.
