FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of biochemistry, in particular to Notch2-binding antibodies. Claimed are monoclonal antibodies, which specifically bind with domain Lin12/Notch Repeat (LNR)-A and domain of heterodimerisation (HD)-C of Notch2 negative regulatory region (NRR) and inhibit transmission of Notch2 signal. The invention also relates to method of applying said antibodies.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to use Notch2-binding antibodies for treating disease, associated with higher expression or transmission of Notch2 signal, such as malignant tumour.
