FIELD: wireless communication equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. Method for using synchronization information for mobility measurements is performed by a wireless communication device and comprises the steps where: accept the instruction to perform mobility measurements for a set of transmission beams associated with unique identification information; verify whether the unique identity information was previously stored by the wireless communication device; if the wireless communication device has not previously stored the said unique identification information, the mobility measurements for the set of transmission beams are performed in order to determine synchronization information for the said set of transmission beams; retain unique identification information and synchronization information from mobility measurements.
EFFECT: technical result is to improve the management of mobility measurements.
