FIELD: electrical communication engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. Method of using antenna beam information includes obtaining antenna beam information that indicates the direction of a wireless network node defined for a wireless device (WD). Method also includes the classification of the received information about the antenna beam to the category of a cell-specific beam based on the angular difference between the aforementioned direction and the direction of the main lobe of the cell-specific beam of the network node. Here, the method includes performing at least one of the actions on load balancing of the wireless device or changing of the radiation pattern belonging to the category of a cell-specific beam.
EFFECT: technical result is improved cell shape for load balancing.
