SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport engineering and is intended for use in transport vehicles with non-rotational wheels or on caterpillar tracks. Technical problem of the claimed invention is to improve the performance characteristics of the board-turning machine, control system and increase its reliability, as well as ensuring the turn of the vehicle around the center of mass. Technical result of the claimed invention is achieved by simplifying the circuit, elimination of unnecessary links and increasing maintainability, as well as the inclusion in the scheme of transmission of the reverse gear, changing the direction of rotation of one of the wheels when performing a steep turn or turn.

EFFECT: application of the claimed method ensures maneuverability and stability of the vehicle during the movement, as well as its rapid turn or turn in a confined space, since this maneuver does not require additional surface area, the turn takes place in place around the center of mass of the vehicle.
