SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transmissions of machines with skid steering method. Machine transmission with skid steering method comprises at least one gearbox, main gear and onboard units. Latter include at least steering mechanisms, stopping brakes, onboard reduction gears and additional mechanical device (AMD). AMD is made in the form of reverse reduction gear and includes planetary reduction gear with kinematic parameter equal to minus 1, with double satellites and common carrier and with two sun gears, each connected to one of semi-axes, with two control elements. First control element is made in the form of two-position toothed clutch with possibility of selective connection of one semi-axle of transmission with one of two output links of multidirectional rotation of the main gear. Second control element is made in the form of a similar two-position toothed clutch with possibility of selective connection of its planet pinion carrier either with the other semi-axle of the transmission, or with the housing of the latter.

EFFECT: improved technical-operational/tactical-technical capabilities and characteristics of the machine.
