FIELD: watches and other time measuring instruments.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of the watch industry and can be used in wristwatches with a classic pointer mechanism. Technical result is achieved by the reciprocating movement of the diffusing mirror, which is an integral part of the protective glass, relative to the reflecting surface of the collecting mirror, which is an integral part of the dial. In this case, the point source of radiation, the collimator, the scattering and collecting mirrors are constructed according to the catadioptric scheme, whose optical axis is aligned with the axis of rotation of the hands and the dial.
EFFECT: implementation of a single point source of radiation of two switchable modes of operation – a flashlight and uniform illumination of the dial and hands.
