FIELD: images forming devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biometric vein imaging system. System consists of biometric sensor, CMOS detector that includes lens that produces collimated beam reflected from object onto CMOS detector array, two laser infrared diode, computational module, by which, when object is brought to biometric sensor, scan of rays from laser infrared diodes hits CMOS matrix, image of object (2D) is formed using the Pockels effect (Kerr), distance to object is measured from this image, intensity of illumination of object is measured, background radiation is traced, after that computational module processes signals in real time and transmits control signal to CMOS detector matrix, performs automatic scanning of object and picture display (photographs) electronically, and scanning of veins occurs without contact and without stopping object above biometric sensor at distance of 0.04 to 0.40 m at speed not exceeding 0.4 m/s.

EFFECT: technical result is improvement in quality of the image of veins.
