SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in the production of sealed magnetically controlled contacts (seal switches). In the method for regulating the mutual disposition of the seal switch contact tips by affecting one of the contact tips with pulsed laser radiation with an energy of 0.5–2.0 J, focused on the surface of the contact tip, parallel to the plane of the intercontact gap, at a distance of 1/5–1/3 of the contact part inside the glass cylinder from the place of welding, they are exposed to laser radiation on the side surface of the contact part perpendicular to the plane of the intercontact gap.

EFFECT: technical result is the manufacture of seal switches with a specified value of the overlap area.
