FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: according to this method in case when operation ampere-turns of sealed contact reed relay does not correspond to the range of certified values the contact gap between relays is measured by action of pulse-laser radiation on one of contact parts with energy of (0.5-2 J) and pulse length in transmission band of glass envelope focused at the surface of contact part in parallel to the plane of contact gap, at the distance of (1/5-1/3) from the contact part inside glass envelope at the point of sealing. Such action leads to slight plastic deformation of the contact part and to change in contact gap and operation ampere-turns respectively.
EFFECT: improving setting accuracy of contact gap between sealed contact reed relays.
