FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the machining of holes in blanks having a multilayer structure. Method of making an opening in a blank having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface includes making a first hole having a first diameter in the blank by conducting the first cutting tool through the blank from the first surface to the second surface. In addition, the method comprises chamfering on a second surface of the blank concentrically with the first hole with a second cutting tool. Chamfer has a second diameter that is larger than the first diameter. Method also includes performing in the blank a second hole having a third diameter that is larger than the first diameter concentrically with the first hole by carrying the third cutting tool through the blank from the first surface to the second surface.
EFFECT: eliminated delamination of the layers of the blank, increased quality of the machined hole.
