SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for installing or inserting a first connecting part into a second connecting part of the machining head for heat processing of a material, to a connecting part for a machining head for heat processing of a material (variants), and an apparatus from the first connecting part and the second connecting part. On the surrounding outer surface (110) of the first connecting part and/or on the surrounding inner surface (240) of the second connecting part, at least one groove (130, 230) is made with a width (B130, B230) and a depth (T130, T230, T112, T120), passing along at least part of the circumferential surface. A sealing ring (132, 232) made of cord with a thickness (Sa) is placed in said groove. In the process of installation or insertion of the first connecting part (100) into the second connecting part (200), said ring (132, 232) is contacted with the opposite inner surface (240, 242, 244) or the opposite outer surface (110, 112, 142), first only on one part of the circumferential surface passing along the groove (130, 230), or on multiple parts of the circumferential surface passing along the groove (130, 230).

EFFECT: as a result of heat processing by the machining head, the connecting parts thereof are often worn, leading to the need for replacement thereof; invention provides a possibility therein to ensure a reduction in the force required for installation and/or, if possible, unambiguous axial, radial, and rotational positioning relative to the longitudinal axis between connecting parts, e.g., wearing parts.
