FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be used for treatment of rhinosinusitis. Seal the nasal cavity. In this case, after inhaling through the mouth within the respiratory volume, a reverse Valsalva test is used to create a negative pressure in the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses as an inspiratory inspiration through the nose with the nasal cavity closed. Then release the vestibule of the nasal cavity and give a medicinal spray. Patient takes additional short breath at the expense of a reserve volume of inspiration, with an increase in the speed of the aerosol and its pressure and improves penetration into the paranasal sinuses.
EFFECT: method improves effectiveness of treatment while simplifying the algorithm of the patient's actions, which is achieved by creating a negative pressure in the nasal cavity and increasing the speed and pressure of the aerosol in the nasal cavity.
