FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a rod-like element reservoir for the tobacco industry. Rod-like element (R) reservoir (1) for the tobacco industry, adapted to be connected to first feed channel (2) for supplying reservoir (1) with first flow of elements (R) through first inlet (8) of the first side of the reservoir, with second feed channel (3) for supplying reservoir (1) with second flow of elements (R) through second inlet (9) of second side of the reservoir opposite the first side of the reservoir and with receiving channel (10) for receiving rod-shaped elements (R) from reservoir (1), reservoir (1) has an adjustable capacity and is connected to filling level determination devices (14, 15) to determine the filling level of reservoir (1), wherein reservoir comprises two chambers (12, 13) having an adjustable capacity and separated by partition (24); first chamber (12) being located between first supply channel (2) and receiving channel (10) and comprising first boundary surface (22) that defines the space of first chamber (12); wherein second chamber (13) is located between second supply passage (3) and receiving channel (10) and comprises second boundary surface (23) that defines the space of second chamber (13); first chamber (12) being connected to first filling level determination device (14) for determining the filling level of first chamber (12) and second chamber (13) being provided with a second filling level determination device (15) for determining the filling level of second chamber (13); first filling level determination device (14) comprising first guiding surface (18A) movable between the blocking and non-locking positions, which in the locking position constitutes a wall for flowing the elements from second supply channel (3) through second chamber (13) into receiving channel (10); second filling level determination device (15) comprising second guide surface (19A) movable between the blocking and non-locking positions, which in the locking position constitutes a wall for flowing the elements from first supply channel (2) through first chamber (12) into receiving channel (10).
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is the ability to apply and monitor each feed channel independently and the absence of damage to elements coming from the second channel when only one feed channel is supplied at a time.
