SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a retrofitting device, a machine for the manufacture of multi-segment rods, and a method for the manufacture of multi-segment rods. A retrofitting device is proposed for retrofitting of a chute of a transporter with a rod-shaped element. In this case, the transporter contains a set of chutes located transversely to the transportation direction and adapted for the transportation of rod-shaped elements. At the same time, the retrofitting device contains a supplying channel for supply of the rod-shaped element; a rotating retrofitting element with the axis of rotation, containing at least one moving seat for the reception of the rod-shaped element from the supplying channel in a reception zone and for the movement of the rod-shaped element to the transporter chute in a movement zone. In this case, the rotating retrofitting element is adapted for the provision of multiple passage of the same rod-shaped element through the movement zone before the movement of this rod-shaped element to the transporter chute. The device also contains a moving mechanism for the movement of the rod-shaped element from the moving seat to the transporter chute.
