SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to the design of a lithium-ion battery, which consists of electrical storage devices, electrically connected in series, series-parallel or parallel-series circuit, and in which each electrical storage device or a group of parallel connected electrical storage devices is connected in parallel with one or more resistors. Further, the rating of the resistors is selected in such a way that the current through them is 10 times or more higher than the maximum self-discharge current of the electrical storage device. Simultaneously, a pair of two electrical storage devices can be connected in the battery, they are electrically connected in series, each has a disposable built-in protection element that tears its internal electrical circuit when the pressure inside the electrical storage device increases. As a supplementary protection against fires due to current overloads, a fuse-link is used in the connection circuit of the electrical storage device pair, which can be located between them.

EFFECT: increase in the radiation resistance and reliability of the operation of the battery of electric storage devices is a technical result of the invention.
