SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely surgery and experimental medicine, and can be used to thaw a partially frozen bioobject using microwave energy of the decimeter range. To do this, the bioobject is placed in a radio chemically sealed chamber, which includes a refrigerator and a source of microwave energy. At the same time, the temperature in the chamber is maintained by means of the refrigerator at a level that prevents or slows the spontaneous thawing of the outer layers of the bioobject. Microwave radiation power is chosen from the compromise between the intensity of the heating of the bioobject from the deep layers to the outside and the exclusion of the possibility of overheating of the bioobject.

EFFECT: method provides the generation of a heat wave from the inside to the outside, when the warming of the frozen portion occurs in the direction from the deep layers to the outer layers.
