FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: preliminarily purified water is frozen by method of direct crystallisation in presence of shungit for 10-12 h, liquid fraction in form of brine is poured out. Part of surface frozen layer is removed by thawing frozen mass to depth 0.5-1.0 mm or by washing with purified water for 15-60 s. Remaining frozen mass is thawed at 0-25°C or placed into storage container, which is poured to the top with pre-prepared highly pure degassed water, is hermetically sealed and stored until consumption. Device contains container (1) with cover, drainage tank (3) with perforated wall and bottom, container (5) with cover, walls of which are made perforated with milled shungit being placed inside. Drainage tank (3) is installed inside container (1) in such a way that it forms clearance, providing placement of ice after freezing of water, poured into it. Container (5) is located inside drainage tank (3) in such a way that it forms clearance, providing placement in it of brine, formed after water freezing.

EFFECT: reduction of admixtures in form of ions and suspended particles in purified melt water, as well as reduction of quantity of semiheavy water HDO in obtained water with simultaneous increase of melt water storage term.
