FIELD: fire safety.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire extinguishing techniques, namely portable fire extinguishers and fire extinguishers for fire and explosion prevention and fire fighting with inorganic fast-hardening foam, and can be used for fire and explosion prevention and extinguishing fires in the initial stage of their occurrence in enclosed spaces and on open areas. Fire extinguisher for fire and explosion prevention and hard foam extinguishing contains a sealed enclosure with components of the extinguishing agent placed in it, a means for mixing the components of the extinguishing agent and means for supplying the components of the extinguishing agent from the housing to the means for mixing the components of the extinguishing agent with the pressure of the compressed gas inside the housing. Fire extinguisher is made with the possibility of obtaining as a fire-extinguishing agent a foamed gel of silica forming a fast-hardening foam, obtained by mixing and foaming the extinguisher placed inside the housing and supplied to the means for mixing the components of the extinguishing agent with the pressure of compressed gas inside the housing. As components of the extinguishing agent, the following is used: component A is an aqueous solution of a mixture of an alkali metal silicate, preferably sodium silicate, and a foaming surfactant, preferably a synthetic hydrocarbon blowing agent, and component B is an activator of silica sol, mainly in the form of an aqueous solution of acetic acid. Device for mixing the components of the fire extinguishing agent is made in the form of an ejector mixer-foam generator with the possibility of mixing components A and B and foaming a mixture of components A and B by the air being ejected into the ejector mixer-foam generator.

EFFECT: improved reliability of the fire extinguisher and the effectiveness of fire extinguishing and fire and explosion prevention.
