FIELD: hygiene.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hygiene and sanitation and is intended to determine amount of microorganisms in air. Detector of microorganisms is proposed. This catcher contains tapered container with lid, filter unit at tank top, hole 3–5 mm in diameter for air intake, removable attachment with lid and auxiliary filter in front of the opening. Moreover, filters in block are removable and are located at distance from each other as pore size decreases from bottom to top. Cone-shaped container is made of casing and test tube equipped with trapping liquid, where test tube is removable, and casing is designed to attach subsequent tubes to corresponding liquid.

EFFECT: invention provides increase in number of isolated microorganisms from air and their differentiation by morphological properties, as well as increase in degree of air purification with high accuracy.
