FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process for the production of synthetic gas from a greenhouse gas – carbon dioxide (CO2) by catalytic conversion of it into synthetic gas and combustible gas. Process is carried out by means of hydrogenation conversion CO2 by contacting a reaction mixture containing hydrogen (H2) and CO2 with a fixed-bed catalyst, which is a metal supported on the support, at an elevated temperature. In this case, as the metal, the catalyst contains iron in an amount of 0.5–15 mass%, and the process is carried out under supercritical conditions for CO2 at a pressure above 73.8 atm and a temperature of 450 to 600 °C when feeding into the reactor a reaction mixture containing a mixture of H2 and CO2, taken in a molar ratio of 0.25–1:1, respectively, and a space velocity from 5,500 to 45,000 h-1.
EFFECT: technical result is to increase the productivity of the process of processing and utilization of CO2, and also in the increase in the life of the catalyst.
