FACILITY FOR DRY SCRUBBING OF EFFLUENT GASES FROM ELECTRILYTIC MANUFACTURING OF ALUMINUM Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC C25C3/22

Abstract RU 2339743 C2

FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns facility for dry scrubbing of effluent gases from electrolytic manufacturing of aluminum by means of adsorption. Facility consists of reactor - adsorber with unit for cleanable gas inlet, with unit of fresh alumina feeding, unit for waste alumina input into reactor, which is installed higher then reactor throat, gas-distributing facility connected to input part of reactor and implemented in the form of duct, in bottom part of which angularly to each other there are installed plate retainer. Duct of gas-distributing facility is connected to output part of reactor and to input part of bag hose. Unit of fresh alumina feeding into reactor is outfitted by bell-shaped nozzle, installed higher reactor throat. Nozzle is outfitted by neck installed of bell. Neck is installed inside of bell as removable. Unit of fresh alumina feeding is connected to bin of fresh alumina by means of transport line. Unit of input into reactor of waste alumina is connected to recirculation line to storage hopper of bag hose. Filter chamber of bag hose is outfitted by facility of impact blasting and connected to gas pipeline with smokestack for emission of treated gas into atmosphere. Storage hopper of waste alumina is connected to transport line with bin of waste alumina, outfitted by expander tube pump for feeding of waste alumina into electrolysis body. For depression creation in gas-cleaning plant in the end of piping before smokestack it is installed blower.

EFFECT: providing of gas-cleaning plant operating efficiency more than 99%.
