FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the preparation of a granular catalyst from a synthetic zeolite of structural type pentasil with a high content of the zeolite phase. Resulting catalyst can be used in the petrochemical and petroleum refining industry, in particular in selective hydrodewaxing, alkylation, isomerization of alkyl aromatic hydrocarbons and others. Method for the preparation of a granular synthetic zeolite of a structural type of pentasil, comprising mixing a powdery zeolite component of the structural type pentasil 70–80 % by weight, ethylsilicate-40 in terms of SiO2 15–20 % by weight and modified starch 5–10 % by weight, wetting, mechanical granulation, drying, calcining and thermocouple activation.
EFFECT: preparation of a granular catalyst from a synthetic zeolite of structural type pentasil with high mechanical strength and catalytic activity.
