FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, or more precisely to synchronous reactive machines, and can be used in electric drives of machines and mechanisms, as well as in electric power generators. Synchronous reaction machine comprises a stator with a winding placed in the stator grooves, a rotor installed with a gap in relation to the stator with the possibility of rotation with respect to it and comprising alternating radially magnetic layers and magnetic flux barriers. Each barrier extends between two peripheral ends extending to the peripheral surface of the rotor, and the angular distance α0 between the neighboring peripheral ends of the deepest internal barriers and the angular distance αn between the peripheral ends of the outer barrier, expressed in electric radians, satisfy the inequation: .
EFFECT: increase in power factor and efficiency (including under reduced loads) with the provision of small values of torque pulsations, as well as an increase in the values of specific characteristics (specific moment and specific power) at a given number of barriers for magnetic flux.
