Deletion confirmation system includes: a record database, account database, configured to store account profiles including data relating to accounts for awards, each of which includes an account identifier and reward points; receiving a transaction message associated with a payment transaction, receiving device for receiving transaction messages; processing device configured to identify a particular account profile, calculating the cost of points based on the transaction amount; identification of an authorization reference key, identification of a unique identifier associated with the authorization reference key; storing in the database entries of the authorization record, generating a request message, and a transmitting device. System for deletion after authorization of payment and the methods describe the process of deletion confirmation.
