FIELD: data processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of marking a pre-approved partial payment transaction for processing by an issuer. Partial contribution data are received, wherein the partial contribution data are associated with the partial payment transaction preliminarily approved by the issuing financial institution and include the main accounting number, the pre-approved amount and the transaction criteria. Transaction message is received, which includes the main accounting number, transaction amount and transaction data. Consistency of the payment transaction with the partial payment transaction is verified based on the correspondence between the pre-approved sum and the transaction sum, and transaction criteria with transaction data. Partial fee flag is stored in the transaction message upon successful verification. Transaction messages including a partial fee flag are sent to a financial institution-issuer through a payment network.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of accuracy of transaction processing.
