FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cosmetology, and can be used to eliminate telangiectasias and reticular veins of the skin. Pathological region is affected by neodymium laser radiation with a wavelength of 1,064 nm, a flux density of 120 J/cm2. With the elimination of vessels with a diameter of up to 0.2 mm, the effect begins with a pulse duration of 10 ms, decreasing each subsequent pulse by 1 ms. When eliminating a vein with a diameter of 0.2 to 2 mm, the effect begins with a pulse duration of 25 ms, reducing each subsequent pulse by 5 ms. When eliminating reticular veins with a diameter of 2 to 5 mm, the effect begins with a pulse duration of 50 ms, reducing each subsequent impulse by 10 ms. Reduction of the pulse duration is carried out until the peak temperature inside the vessel is obtained, leading to its coagulation.
EFFECT: method provides an increase in the efficiency of vascular elimination and a reduction in the postoperative rehabilitation period, a good cosmetic effect due to the use of a minimum peak temperature leading to effective photothermolysis.
