FIELD: dermatology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to remove cicatricial changes in the skin of the face. The scar tissue is targeted with hot plasma formed by high purity electric current at an input power of 5 W, an output power of 1 W, a voltage of 3.7 V, followed by smoothing the skin surface with an Er:YAG laser – pulse duration 600 ms, radiation energy density 3–5 J/cm2, spot size 4 mm, then a 10% solution of potassium permanganate is applied to the outer surface of the scar.
EFFECT: method provides reduction of time required for removal of scar tissue, reduction of skin traumatization, reduction of pain sensations and increase in the rate of healing of the treated area.
