FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for repairing or strengthening existing bridges. Method of reinforcing the span structure of a bridge structure with a change in cross-section includes strengthening the main beams by installing and tensioning the ropes. First, a box section is created by additionally installing the lower block and fixing it in the lower part of the two connected T-beams by the method of co-extinction with concrete, combining the reinforcement of the elements to be joined. Then, the span structure of the bridge structure is reinforced, where first the ropes are placed in several rows in the lower part of the support elements of the two connected T-beams. After that, additionally, the ropes are installed above the upper belt of two connected T-shaped beams in the places of the pressure zone of the span structure. Further, additional ropes are installed above the lower block inside the box section at the points of the inter-support zone of the span structure. After this, the ropes over the upper belt, in the lower part of the supporting elements of the two connected T-beams and over the lower block inside the box section are stretched. Finally, the ropes are anchored and concreted. In this case, the ropes above the upper and lower belt can be installed directly in places intended to strengthen the span structure, and in order to strengthen the pressure zone of the span structure, the ropes are installed over the upper belt, and to strengthen the inter-support zone, the ropes are installed over the lower block inside the box section. When the span structure is strengthened with the hollow support elements of the T-beams, straight ropes are installed inside the cavities of the support elements. When the span structure is reinforced with monolithic support elements of the T-beams, holes are additionally drilled in the lower part of the support members, after which straight ropes are installed in these holes.

EFFECT: method for strengthening the span structure of a bridge structure is proposed.
