SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the coal industry. Machine for servicing a battery of coking ovens is configured to move along the rails parallel to the battery each time to a service position in front of one of the coking ovens. Machine comprises wheels rolling along the rails and driving devices for at least one wheel on each rail. Drive devices are designed to generate a torque which rotates the machine on rails around a vertical axis.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of positioning and orientation.
