SUBSTANCE: invention relates to flow control in a flow of a current medium. Device for emergency shutdown of water contains a shut-off valve and a flow sensor installed on the riser of the water supply to the room, a presence detector in the people's house and a controller electrically connected to the sensors and the locking cock. Controller sends a signal to the locking valve when the two conditions are fulfilled simultaneously: the flow of water in the riser and the absence of a presence sensor in the controller reading area. Presence detector in the people's house is made in the form of a transponder. Use of a human presence sensor ensures free use of water when there are people in the house.
EFFECT: technical result is to provide protection from any leakage, regardless of the place of the accident at the time of the absence of a person in the room.
