SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hatch (1) for closing off access to motor vehicle power supply interface (2) placed in recess (3). Hatch (1) includes gate (4) having knuckle (5), pivotably mounted about axis (P) between a closed position, in which cavity (3) is closed, and an open position enabling access to power supply interface (2). Hatch includes stopping abutment (6), against which gates (4) bears in the open position, and at least one overtravel abutment (7), against which gate (4) bears, in the event that gate (4) covers a predetermined additional distance beyond the closed position.

EFFECT: technical result is an economical and reliable hatch for closing off access to a power supply interface while limiting the forces acting on the hatch when passing through the extreme position of the gate.
