Dispenser for supplying a metered volume of a liquid medicament to an aerosol device comprises: a container for storing a liquid medicament having a proximal end and a distal end; a dispensing mechanism connected to the distal end of the container, comprising a distal end. Dispensing mechanism for dispensing a metered volume of a liquid medicament from a tip comprises a fixed portion connected to a sliding portion, where in an uncompressed state the sliding portion is in a position offset from the container, the sliding portion is adapted to be compressed towards the fixed portion. Distal end of the dispensing mechanism includes a transition element that interacts with the body of the aerosol device. Also disclosed is a method of manufacturing a dispenser, a method for supplying a liquid medicament, and a version of a dispenser.
