FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: aerosol spray device comprising a housing with a mouthpiece, a vibrating member for pushing liquid droplets through the mouthpiece, a reservoir for liquid drug before spraying by the vibrating member are taken, wherein an opening communicating fluidly with the said reservoir is formed in the housing. A dispenser comprising an elongated body with a proximal end and a tip at the distal end is taken, through which the liquid drug is released, a dispensing mechanism configured to release a metered amount of liquid drug from the tip at each compression of the dispenser body. The dispenser is grasped with fingers of one hand around its body, so that the thumb is located near the proximal end, and the little finger - near the tip. The tip is inserted into the housing opening, so that several alignment elements located at the tip come into contact with the upper surface of the aerosol spray device to limit the tip insertion into the opening. While holding the dispenser, a force is applied to the elongated body towards the tip, causing dispenser housing compression, thereby triggering the metering mechanism, so that each time the dispenser housing is compressed, a metered amount of liquid drug is introduced into the said reservoir.
EFFECT: improved accuracy.
