FIELD: optics; manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention discloses an optical component for anti-counterfeiting protection and an article with optical anti-counterfeiting protection. Optical anti-counterfeit component comprises substrate; subwave surface microstructure and a light reflecting facet formed on the upper surface of the substrate; and multilayer coating formed on a subwave surface microstructure and a light reflecting facet. In the case where the same multilayer coating is used, a contrasting optical characteristic is formed between the region in which the subwavelength surface microstructure and the multilayer coating lie, and an area in which the light-reflecting facet and the multilayer coating lie, such that the anti-counterfeit optical component or the anti-counterfeit article that contains the anti-counterfeit optical component can be easily identified and have a high degree of anti-counterfeiting protection.
EFFECT: optical component for counterfeit protection is proposed.
