FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to artillery ammunition in which the projectile and the charge device of the propellant charge are joined before loading them into the barrel of the gun, and their separation occurs as a result of destruction of the forcing element during the shot. Method consists in that before the projectile and the charger are docked, the level of the destructive load of the forcing element is set. Artillery ammunition consists of a projectile, an element of forcing, made in the form of a pin with a weakening, its ends connected with a shell and a shank docked with a propellant charging device, in the forcing element coaxial to the hairpin, there is a tube with a weakening, rigidly connected to the projectile and the shank, and the pin is connected to the shank by a detachable fixing element. For another embodiment, in the artillery ammunition, the forcing element is made in the form of a hairpin with two attenuations having different levels of destructive load, the attenuation with a high level of destructive load is located farther from the charging device than the weakening with a lower level of the breaking load, and the pin section between the loops is rigidly connected by a removable locking member with a shank.
EFFECT: technical result consists in ensuring that artillery ammunition can be fired from shell charges and muzzle-loading artillery pieces of one caliber.
