SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and system for optimizing a drilling path from the earth's surface to a final section located below the surface. Method includes drilling toward a final location along a drilling path, updating the drilling path model based on at least the data obtained during the drilling step towards the final location, forming an altered drilling path towards the final location based on at least the said model of the real-time drilling path during the drilling step towards a final location along said drilling path and drilling toward a final location along the said altered drilling path, wherein the formation of the modified drilling path is limited to a working space that is updated at least based on the data obtained during the drilling step towards the final location.

EFFECT: technical result is to increase efficiency of the drilling processes.
