FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of shipbuilding and can be used to determine the metacentric height of underwater and surface objects. Method is proposed for determining the metacentric height of submarine and surface objects of displacement D, which is performed by croaking objects with the moment Mcr, roll angle increment measurements Δθ using an electronic goniometer and calculating the metacentric height using formula . In this case, before the beginning of the heeling, the validity of the start of the data recording is determined starting from the amplitude of the rolling roll or the amplitude of the deviations of the mathematical expectation of the roll angle. In the process of crouching, it is possible to complete the registration based on the condition for the accuracy of determining the average value of the roll angle verified from the values of the deviation amplitude of the mathematical expectation of the roll angle in the selected time interval. Electronic goniometer is also proposed for performing this method of determining the metacentric height.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the accuracy of determining the metacentric height, improving the quality of carrying out crocheting experiments by reducing time and labor and simplifying the process of recording and processing data.
