FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building, particularly, to ship stability control. Disclosed is a method for current control of stability of a ship, which enables to assess the current state of the ship from the point of view of possibility of its capsizing in operating conditions. Based on data on current measurements of the angle of heel and trim of the ship, as well as the diagram of the static stability of the ship, which is calculated based on data on the ship stability cross-curves, data on the current draft of the ship at the midship frame and the applicator of the center of gravity of the ship, areas of the diagram of static stability, which correspond to works of heeling and restoring moment, are determined.
EFFECT: higher safety of navigation.
