FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the power engineering. Burner with migratory heating comprises at least two burner elements, each of which comprises the following: distribution nozzle for fuel flow; the annular nozzle surrounding the dispensing nozzle and intended for flow of the first oxidant; at least one stepped nozzle for the flow of the second oxidant; the controller, which is programmed to independently control the flow of fuel into each distribution nozzle in such a way that at least one of the distribution nozzles is active and at least one of the distribution nozzles is passive, where the flow of fuel into the active distribution nozzle is greater than the average fuel flow to the distribution nozzles, and the flow of fuel into the passive nozzle is smaller than the average fuel flow into the distribution nozzles; and to adjust the step ratio so that it is less than or equal to about 75 %, where the step ratio is the ratio of the oxygen content in the second oxidant flow and the total oxygen content in the first and second oxidant flows.
EFFECT: invention allows to create and maintain a uniform temperature distribution in the furnace, to provide a selective increase in length and penetrating ability of the flame.
