FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to two variants of a method for producing a high-density jet fuel for supersonic aviation. One embodiment of the process includes fractionation of a heavy pyrolysis resin with isolation of a distillate fraction with a boiling point of up to 330 °C, hydrotreating the distillate fraction at a temperature of 340–360 °C and a pressure of 4–6 MPa, hydrogenation is carried out at a temperature of 200–230 °C and a pressure of 3–6 MPa and the yield of the product. Hydrotreating is carried out in the presence of an alumino-nickel-molybdenum sulfide hydrotreating catalyst obtained by sulfurization of the oxide form of the catalyst with a 1 % solution of dimethyl disulphide in a straight-run diesel fraction. Hydrogenation is carried out in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst containing 2 wt. % palladium on carbon. Isolated distillate fraction with a boiling point up to 330 °C of the second embodiment of the invention, before being hydrotreated, is mixed with a straight-run gas oil fraction in a ratio of 30:70 wt.
EFFECT: reduction (down to absence) of sulfur and aromatic hydrocarbons content in jet fuel with a decrease in hydroprocessing pressure, simplicity, economy and non-waste production of the jet fuel production method.
