FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, and can be used in the operation of multi-support sprinklers, carrying out watering from underground and surface sources, as well as from closed and open irrigation networks. For this purpose, evaporation losses in the air during sprinkling with a sprinkler are determined, including the set values for heating the irrigation water. Determination of the loss value is carried out on the basis of regression analysis of specific combinations of meteorological parameters and design and technological characteristics of the machine. Measurement of heating of irrigation water is carried out directly in the rain cloud by measuring the temperatures at the outlet of the rain device and in the surface layer at the boundary of the rain cloud in the middle of the sprinkler or in a plane normally located to the axis of the pipeline of the sprinkler, dividing the volume of a rain cloud into two equal parts, taking into account the uniformity of irrigation. Value of evaporation losses in the air is determined from the dependence E = f(ΔTw), where ΔTw – warming up the water in a rain cloud.
EFFECT: invention provides the determination of water losses for evaporation with high accuracy.
