FIELD: control systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for controlling a vehicle system with an actuating mechanism, which is linear or non-linear. Generated pseudo-inverse piecewise bilinear model is adapted based on the output of a feedback controller to improve feed forward control.
EFFECT: actuating mechanism more precisely observes the desired trajectory, the operation of the actuating mechanism in the vehicle control system is improved.
