FIELD: optical devices.
SUBSTANCE: swivel mirror contains a rider with a “dovetail” profile, an optical head with rings for alignment along the vertical and horizontal axes and a mirror. Mirror is installed and fixed in the inner housing of the optical head, which also serves as a tuning ring, which reduces the number of individual necessary rings to one. Outer body is mechanically connected to the cylindrical pin of the rider by a strap, which at its other end is screwed to the outer casing of the optical head in such a way that the continuation of the rotational axis of the rider coincides with the reflection plane of the mirror, which makes it possible to avoid the spatial displacement of light beams relative to the rails during mirror turns and to increase the limiting rotation angles of the mirror when working with wide beams.
EFFECT: technical result is the elimination of the spatial displacements of the beam relative to the rails during the rotation of the mirror and its alignment.
